We make coats for Tailoring houses predominantly in London and the SouthEast of England. Our workshops are based in London & Bishops Stortford. Our family has been making coats in London for the Tailoring trade since the mid 1950s
In most cases we make the coats from bundle to straight finish.
For some tailoring houses we make up the fittings at all stages:
The first fitting (rough baste)
The second fitting (pocket baste)
The third fitting (forward fitting)
After each fitting, the cutter in each particular Tailoring house will recut the fitting before returning it back to us to take it to the next stage.
Some of our Tailoring houses make the first rough baste fitting in-house, then recut and send to us to construct the coat and return it completed.
Other Tailoring houses make up the first rough baste, recut and send to us to make the second fitting at pocket baste stage. We return it to them to be fitted on their customer and recut and they then send the recut bundle back to us to either prepare a third and final fitting at the forward fitting stage or to go straight to finishing and return the coat completed.
We understand that all Tailoring houses have different standards of quality and different ways of constructing coats, whether its the traditional hand crafted methods or more modern techniques, we will discuss all aspects of the work and do our best to accommodate your specific requirements. We always aim to please, and undertake all our work in a professional manner.
Our turnaround times can be anything between two and four weeks, depending on the volume of work at the time. In most cases we have an agreed turnaround time with each individual Tailoring house.
If you are interested in any of our services, then please email or call us to discuss things further. We are very flexible with the type of work you would like and turnaround times.
